If we talk about East Java mudflow tragedy, or Lapindo mud, or Sidoarjo mudflow, or whatever mud you want to say. What is in your mind? Is it the amends? (or profitable compensation, it also whatever you say), or Lapindo, or Bakrie family, or Government, has to take responsibility, it also whatever you want to say. Or interpellation the President, or to make a canal, or destroying the environment, or to be sworn, or taking a gun. Or forced to leave the Porong Market Place (PBP) immediately, or to make a bamboo spear, or it have to bring to the television show Dream Republic (Republik Mimpi), or it has to be escorted by hill climb down (up?) of the master Emha. It’s up to you…. again.
There are a lot of problems included. There are a lot of pains do not getting a proper attention. And, in fact, thousands of children dragged along the ambitions, lust, anger, desperation, adult games, political games, smart peoples games and all the 17 years-above affairs.
If the adult can stress, mad or even decided to suicide caused by this mudflow problems, what do you think about the children luck?
May be I should tell a little story about the children luck whose father was the former of PT Dirgantara Indonesia employer and be the outsiders, the opposition group that always demo in Bandung and Jakarta. This family coincidently is known by me privately. His yearly fighting to keep his faith is nothing.
What was happened is a slowly family destruction. Their children became victims, can not continue their school, inferior and did not get enough attention from their parent. The father is going to be more sensitive, easy to angry and often made an irrational decision. Curiously to others including the neighbor and at the end he isolated himself and his family. And burdened with classical problem, have a lot of debt to others.
If the parents can be so susceptible, and how about their children luck?
Adult peoples, you are free to quarrel, fight each other, angry till crying (I am very sorry Mr. President). Spent your money to fund X or Y movement. You may ask the money to the victims to arrange the administration requirements of the amends (or purchase-sell, whatever you like). You have the right to be a broker to assist the smoothing of 20% down payment, commercialize the verification form, and manipulate the data. You can do ‘anything’ to smoothen the payment even it demanded to manipulate the data. Having the office but do not have clear address so it hard to find. Or maximizing any tricks to take advantage in the crowded situation.
But please don’t take the children into the adult game like this! Save them, give them enough space to complete their psychological development as normal as possible, until they attained their puberty where they already full-grown to analyze all the stimulants come from the diverse parties. And then, they decide to the next step with fully affection, freed from tender age trauma.
Once, they can do the dialogue with all the grandsons of Bakrie family, grandsons of The President and grandsons of The Ministers and grandsons of Politicians and also grandsons of Provocateurs to sit together finalize the mud problems at, Porong, Sidoarjo, East Java, Indonesia that not succeeded yet by their doyen 30 years ago, with peace and liberality.
And finally found that behind the disaster substantively implied godsend from the Almighty to Indonesian peoples…that had in-vain for the last tens years.
And will not do the same old stories about oil, forest and ocean biota. (awk/udt)
