JAKARTA (Antara): Social Affairs Minister Bachtiar Chamsyah admitted Monday there was delay on the disbursement of Porong mudflow victims' compensation.

Bachtiar said Lapindo Brantas, which is responsible for the compensation payment, looked to suffer from financial difficulty.

He said necessary measures should be taken to avoid further delays on the compensation payment.
