Almost 1.5 years the East Java mudflow disaster happened in Porong Sidoarjo and it still not totally overcame yet. The mud scolding always comes out with the volume attain to 150 metric tons every day and flow far away.

These three pictures are visualization of the area before and after the disaster. Picture #1 is situation of Porong District before the mudflow submerge the area. Picture #2 is first disaster zone which stated by the Government in December 5, 2005. Picture #3 is second disaster zone which stated in March 22, 2007.

Since first eruption in May 29, 2006, the mudflow the disaster had forced residents of about 12 villages from Porong and Tanggulangin Districts leave their homes live in temporary shelter camp, with their relatives or families before receive house lease for two years from Lapindo Brantas Inc. Total number of of refugees as of May 2007 is presented below:
