I, together with Bangbang Wetan friends and Jamaah Maiyah worked actively to initiate the process in order to realize all and to relieve the mud victims feeling. CONTACTS, meetings, negotiation, initiated proactively down to the technical level without waiting the movement of SBY bureaucracy machine. Continually I received the ball and continually I also thrown the ball among the parties including the victims, BPLS, MInarak Lapindo, the President, Ministers and other parties related to and had relevancies with the problems. Bureaucracy machine, of course, has their own slowness tradition, in the other side we have to commend the BPLS personnel which have an extraordinary mentality in field. Slowness and less coordination bureaucracy make the process can not move faster it has to be and also there is still different perception regarding the verification criteria. It is very exhausting and down hearted and I tried to control and soothe my emotion and the potential amuck of the victims. Their psychological limit is next Monday, but substantially and empirically their psychological limit is yesterday. If the limit can not be passed by the “payment machine” with relief the victims feeling, Insya Allah I will not hold and soothe anybody to do anything. The main deadlock of the amends are as follow; first, the verification criteria among the legal documents of the victims lands and buildings, ITS data, Satellite images and the residents testimony does not match each other. Second, unclear policy whether Minarak Lapindo has the right for verification or not, or the verification right is only the BPLS-BPN authority. Third, some victims speculated that Lapindo attempt to pay lowest and buying time, as Lapindo feel not guilty legally. There is no need to debate regarding Lapindo attitude; Our main job is focus to the payment realization and its acceleration. If somebody performed ablutions, there is no need to debate whether he or she going to do the sholat (praying) seriously or ostensibly, lillahita’ala (only for God) or wants their businesses success. Our focus is trying to challenge he or she doing the sholat. Better we keep our mouth not say something or deliver the statements, without an understanding of the problems, that will disturb the situation and at the end will be back as boomerang to the speakers. However, the situation forced me to work hard for the last two days, particularly to train the President’s Palace and Cikeas, guided them to do the relevant things by preparing any substantive matter on each stage. Alhamdulillah (Thank God), on yesterday afternoon Allah gave His permission to allow me to do the shortcut. I was in the meeting and someone whispered to me and say :” If Cak Nun available, Mr. Nirwan Bakrie will arrive in 25 minutes to meet you.” I did not have any reason to refuse or not. I always thank to God whatever happened and came to me. Then, the guy came: Nirwan Bakrie. We were saying hello each other as a human and Indonesian brotherhood. I called the yesterday afternoon meeting with Nirwan Bakrie is a gentlemen agreement: the agreement between a man, a sportive deal between two peoples, consisted inside the value of honesty and witnessed by Allah SWT. I recorded that Nirwan told few important things of mud case. He swore in Allah that he wish a lot the problems will be ended soon, the payment finalized. “My father, Bakrie, will awake from his cemetery if the problems can not be solved by his sons” Bakrie family is part of Indonesian people so there is no place except Indonesia to effort their own life. As a businessman he can do the profitable businesses in any place around the world, but it will meaningless if Sidoarjo people and Indonesian people do not have liberality to Bakrie family. That the verification criteria imbroglio regarding the width of lands and buildings owned by the victims, he will pay as long as the victims sworn by Cak Nun. For this last matter, I asked Jam’iyah Maiyah friends to prepare the support of vertical ceremony to Allah as the final effort to accelerate the relief of the victims feeling. I told to the guy that any good aim of human will be calculated as Allah obligation and He will pay it back many times over, especially the aim contains the affection, willing to fulfill other peoples need either legally guilty or not. For the group except the group accepted 20% down payment as instructed in President Regulation, for example Pesantren, we already discussed specifically and formulated. However, I do not have any right to extend anything. My only right, as a human and a Moslem and as a part of Indonesian people, is to involve in thinking about this nation. Yesterday afternoon is the deadline, the final session of the victim patience. At the same time the meeting with the guy, I received a good news from the mud field that some payments with quite a lot of money already done and still running. Comments (0)
